This year, I've decided, is going to be MY year! No longer am I going to accept the labels of "lazy", "sedentary", or "unmotivated". I am moving more, and eating less. Or, that's the plan, anyway.
I have a list of things I'm trying to stick to / do each & every day:
- eat ONLY when my stomach is empty
- stop eating when I feel "satisfied"
- eat at least 2 veggies & 2 fruits, daily
- drink 40oz. of water, daily (including weekends)
- exercise for 30-60 minutes, 5 times per week (weekends off)
- get at least 7 hours of sleep each night
- cut back on caffeine intake by 50-75%
- cut back on my sweets intake
- spend Quiet Time with God each day
This blog is a place where I'm going to journal my journey, 'cause I've found --in the past-- that that worked well. It helps to see where I've come from, what I'm doing right, and where I have more work yet to do. ;-)
